This is what community looks like when you show up for it.

From our flagship Christmas Table and Health & Community Fair, to fundraisers and the local events you'll spot us at across Ballajura and the City of Swan. This is the work that happens when people lead with care.

TNWA is a non-profit charity first. The events we run, support, and attend are the public face of that work. Some are formal. Some are loud. Some are just us showing up at a school or community stall because we said we would.

Everything on this page sits outside our NDIS services. These are the moments where the whole community comes together, participants, volunteers, partners, neighbours, and reminds each other what belonging actually looks like.

WHAT WE DO

Three ways we bring the community together.

TNWA runs three kinds of events, each with its own purpose and its own people. Here’s the breakdown.

What we host
Flagship Events
Signature events we host and produce. The Christmas Table. The Health & Community Fair. Large-scale, layered, trauma-aware, and designed to do real work for the people who attend.
How we sustain it
Fundraisers
Events we run to sustain the charity. Because a community charity needs community support to keep going. Watch this space, or reach out if you'd like to sponsor or host one with us.
Where we show up
External Events
The local events we show up to — school fairs, NAIDOC Week, Music in the Park, Children's Week. Community members meet us face-to-face, ask questions, and connect with support on the ground.

WHO OUR EVENTS ARE FOR

However you want to be part of it, there's a way in.

TNWA events serve four different audiences. Whether you want to attend, give back, build a partnership, or invest in community outcomes, here’s how to get involved.

If you live in Perth, TNWA events are open to you. Come along to the community fair. Drop by a stall. Follow along on our socials or sign up to our mailing list to be the first to hear about what’s coming up.

If you run a charity, service, or community group in the City of Swan, we’d love to partner. We co-host. We refer. We open our flagship events to partner nominations. Reach out and let’s talk about what a partnership could look like.

If you’ve got a few hours spare, TNWA events run on volunteer energy. Stall setup, guest welcoming, gift wrapping, event day logistics. No experience required, no minimum commitment. Just willingness. Sign up using this form.

If you’re a business, foundation, or government body looking to invest in community outcomes across the City of Swan, TNWA events offer genuine reach, measurable impact, and transparent acquittal. We’re also a registered Public Benevolent Institution with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission, making any donations above $2 tax deductible. Let’s talk about what fits your goals and give us a call on (08) 6556 8870.

How to find out what's on:

  • Follow TNWA on Facebook and Instagram for event announcements.
  • Check our events calendar on the TNWA website.
  • Sign up to our community newsletter for what's coming up.
  • Walk in or call us — we're happy to chat about what's on.

Let's build something together.

Whether you want to attend, volunteer, partner, or sponsor, every TNWA event is better when more of the community is in it. Get in touch and we’ll find the right way in for you.
