Standard community access supports keep people connected. That matters. But there’s a difference between maintaining a routine and building toward something. Custom Care Experiences are one-on-one day outings designed entirely around the participant—their interests, their goals, and their comfort levels. Whether it’s exploring a local event, trying something new, or building life skills out in the community, every experience is thoughtfully planned to support capacity building and increase independence.
This isn’t just a support shift with a destination attached. It’s an experience designed to help someone grow and achieve their goals.
WHAT MAKES A CCE DIFFERENT
There’s a reason we call them experiences, not outings. The difference is in how they’re designed, who they’re designed for, and what they’re designed to achieve.
Every Custom Care Experience is built around the participant’s personal interests, goals and preferences. Not a generic activity list or a schedule they happen to be added to. It’s a personalised NDIS day experience that reflects who they are and what they’re working toward.
Regular community access supports cover the everyday. Shopping, fitness, coffee. Custom Care Experiences are designed to be something special. A unique outing the participant can look forward to, talk about and carry with them. Something that breaks the pattern and opens up new possibilities.
Every experience is linked to the participant’s NDIS goals like:
It’s not just about attending an activity. It’s about the progress that comes from it. Each experience comes with a structured program that outlines the outing, how the TNWA support worker will assist, and how the experience supports capacity building.
Custom Care Experiences are delivered with dedicated one-on-one TNWA support. The participant has a support worker’s full attention for the entire outing. That means the pace, the focus and the level of support are completely adaptable to what they need in the moment.
HOW IT HELPS PARTICIPANTS REACH THEIR GOALS
Custom Care Experiences are designed to help participants grow through doing things they enjoy. The goals are built into the experience itself during the planning stage.
WHO IT’S FOR
If you want NDIS support that’s built around your interests and your goals, not someone else’s schedule, Custom Care Experiences are for you. It’s your day, planned alongside you, done at your pace.
You want the person you care about to have meaningful experiences, not just supervised time out of the house. Every Custom Care Experience comes with a structured program so you know what’s planned, how they’ll be supported, and how it connects to their NDIS goals.

Get in touch and we’ll talk through how Custom Care Experiences work, what’s possible, and how it fits with the participant’s NDIS plan. Whether you’re the participant, a family member, or a support coordinator, the conversation starts here.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How is a Custom Care Experience different from regular community access?
Regular community access supports cover everyday activities like shopping, gym or having a coffee. Custom Care Experiences are personalised, one-off day outings designed around the participant’s specific interests and goals. They’re planned to be memorable and purpose-driven, with a focus on capacity building and independence.
How are experiences chosen?
Together with the participant. We start with their interests, goals and what they’d like to explore. From there, we design an experience that aligns with their NDIS plan and gives them something meaningful to look forward to.
How is this funded through the NDIS?
Custom Care Experiences are funded through NDIS Core Supports (Assistance with social, economic and community participation) and Capacity Building (Increased social and community participation). Call us on (08) 6556 8870 or talk to your Support Coordinator about how this fits within your plan.
What kind of activities are included?
It depends on the participant. It could be a trip to a local event, trying a creative workshop, exploring a new part of the city, building life skills at a market or community space, or anything else that aligns with their goals and interests. The whole point is that it’s shaped by them.
Is transport included?
Transport arrangements are discussed during intake and depend on the participant’s needs. We’ll work it out together.
Can this be a one-off experience or is it ongoing?
Both. Custom Care Experiences can be a single outing to try something new, or part of an ongoing program of personalised experiences. It’s flexible and based on what works for the participant.
