TNWA is a non-profit charity first. The events we run, support, and attend are the public face of that work. Some are formal. Some are loud. Some are just us showing up at a school or community stall because we said we would.
Everything on this page sits outside our NDIS services. These are the moments where the whole community comes together, participants, volunteers, partners, neighbours, and reminds each other what belonging actually looks like.
WHAT WE DO
TNWA runs three kinds of events, each with its own purpose and its own people. Here’s the breakdown.
WHO OUR EVENTS ARE FOR
TNWA events serve four different audiences. Whether you want to attend, give back, build a partnership, or invest in community outcomes, here’s how to get involved.
If you live in Perth, TNWA events are open to you. Come along to the community fair. Drop by a stall. Follow along on our socials or sign up to our mailing list to be the first to hear about what’s coming up.
If you run a charity, service, or community group in the City of Swan, we’d love to partner. We co-host. We refer. We open our flagship events to partner nominations. Reach out and let’s talk about what a partnership could look like.
If you’ve got a few hours spare, TNWA events run on volunteer energy. Stall setup, guest welcoming, gift wrapping, event day logistics. No experience required, no minimum commitment. Just willingness. Sign up using this form.
If you’re a business, foundation, or government body looking to invest in community outcomes across the City of Swan, TNWA events offer genuine reach, measurable impact, and transparent acquittal. We’re also a registered Public Benevolent Institution with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission, making any donations above $2 tax deductible. Let’s talk about what fits your goals and give us a call on (08) 6556 8870.
Whether you want to attend, volunteer, partner, or sponsor, every TNWA event is better when more of the community is in it. Get in touch and we’ll find the right way in for you.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Are TNWA events free to attend?
Our flagship community events are free and open to the community. The Together Now: Health & Community Fair is fully free. The Christmas Table is invitation-based via partner organisations, at no cost to guests. Fundraisers and specific ticketed events are the exception; details are listed with each event.
How do I get invited to the Christmas Table?
Christmas Table guests are nominated through TNWA’s partner network of community organisations, charities, and service providers. If you suppory someone who would benefit, speak to your service coordinator or contact TNWA directly about becoming a partner organisation.
How can I volunteer at TNWA events?
Fill out our online volunteer application form and let us know what you’re interested in. We run volunteer briefings ahead of larger events and have ongoing opportunities throughout the year.
How do I partner with TNWA on an event?
Contact us with a short note about your organisation and what kind of partnership you’re considering, whether that’s co-hosting, stall holding at the Health & Community Fair, nominating guests for the Christmas Table, or sponsoring a fundraiser. We’ll set up a conversation.
Are TNWA events accessible?
Yes. Our flagship events are designed with accessibility and inclusion built in, including sensory-friendly zones, accessible stages, accommodation for mobility aids and support workers, and culturally inclusive programming. Specific accessibility information is provided with each event.
When is the next Health & Community Fair?
The next Together Now: Health & Community Fair is scheduled for 2027, in Ballajura. Stall holder registrations, partner enquiries, and sponsorship conversations are always open.
Do I need to be an NDIS participant to attend?
No. TNWA’s community events are open to everyone in the community, NDIS participants and non-participants alike. Our events sit outside our NDIS services.
Where can I see what's coming up?
Our upcoming events are listed on our events calendar and across our social channels. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram, or sign up to our mailing list.
