Choosing an NDIS provider is a big decision. You’re inviting people into your home, your routine, sometimes your hardest days. You deserve a provider who treats that weight with care.
TNWA has built its NDIS service around one idea: supports should fit the participant, not the other way around. Whether you’re new to the NDIS, switching providers, or coming in through a Support Coordinator, we’ll walk you through what’s possible, what’s covered, and what happens next. Nothing gets signed until you feel right about it.
ELIGIBILITY
TNWA supports NDIS participants aged 5 years and above who live within the City of Swan. Our primary service area covers Ballajura and surrounds, and we welcome participants from across the City’s suburbs. If you live outside the City of Swan, get in touch anyway. We review requests outside our primary area on a case-by-case basis, depending on capacity, travel, and support complexity.
THE INTAKE PROCESS
The NDIS can feel overwhelming. The intake process shouldn’t. Ours is designed to keep things moving without rushing anyone. From your first enquiry to your first scheduled support, we aim to have you set up within about a month, depending on funding confirmation and plan complexity.
Target timeframe from first contact to first service: approximately one month. Actual timing varies based on funding confirmation, documentation, risk assessment, and complexity.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
Both are about how we treat people.
TNWA is both an NDIS service provider and a registered organisation with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission. Your NDIS funding doesn't just cover your services — it helps sustain community events, emergency relief, and advocacy for people across the City of Swan. That's not marketing language. That's how the model is built.
Most providers stick to their lane. TNWA connects NDIS supports with our broader work — so if you need help with social housing, Centrelink, emergency food relief, or attending a community event, the same people who support you day-to-day can help you get there. One team. One organisation. One consistent set of faces.
WHO IT’S FOR
If you have an approved NDIS plan and live across the City of Swan, TNWA can support you. Whether you need daily support, community access, respite, or all of the above, we’ll build a service that fits your life.
If you’re supporting someone through their NDIS plan, we work alongside you. Full transparency on pricing, what’s planned, how it’s going, and how we can make life easier at home. You stay in the loop, always.
A not-for-profit NDIS provider in Ballajura with a full suite of Core and Capacity-Building supports. Clear reporting, responsive communication, and a wrap-around service model. Get in touch for referral information or to discuss current capacity.
Whether you’re enquiring for yourself, a family member, or a client, get in touch and we’ll walk you through the next step. No pressure. No commitment. Just a proper conversation about whether TNWA is the right fit.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need a Support Coordinator to engage with TNWA?
No. You can engage TNWA directly without a Support Coordinator. If you have one, we work alongside them. If you don’t, we can provide Support Coordination ourselves where it fits within your plan.
What age do participants need to be?
TNWA supports NDIS participants aged 5 years and above.
Do you take Self Managed or Agency Managed plans?
Our services are set up for Plan Managed participants. If your plan is Self Managed or Agency Managed, give us a call on (08) 6556 8870 and we can talk through your options and how your plan can work with our services.
What suburbs do you cover?
Our primary service area is the City of Swan, including Ballajura and the surrounding suburbs. Requests outside this area are considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on our capacity and support complexity.
How long does intake take?
Our target is around one month from first contact to your first scheduled service. Actual timing depends on how quickly funding and item codes are confirmed, and how complex the support needs are.
What happens at the first meeting?
We hold first meetings at our Ballajura office, in a private meeting room. We talk through your current supports, any gaps, and what ideal supports would look like. You’ll complete an intake form and consent forms. Nothing is locked in. No services start until a Service Agreement is signed after the home visit.
Can I change or cancel a service once it's booked?
Yes. Short-term cancellations require seven days’ notice, in line with NDIS Pricing Arrangements. Office appointment cancellations require 24 hours. If TNWA cancels for operational reasons, the support is rescheduled at no charge to your plan. Our full cancellation policy will be covered in your Service Agreement and the participant handbook you receive once you start support services at TNWA.
What if I need support outside business hours?
Our office is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Support services run 24/7 year-round. For urgent after-hours enquiries, call us on (08) 6556 8870.
How do I give feedback or raise a concern?
You can speak directly with any team member, submit a feedback form online, or email us. Feedback is acknowledged within three business days. If it’s not resolved internally, you can also raise it with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission on 1800 035 544.
