Many of our team members have lived experience of hardship and understand how difficult it can feel to ask for help. You can be assured that we will always listen with compassion and never from a place of judgment.
We may be able to assist with essentials such as food, clothing, household items, or help connecting you with other services. Our goal is to make sure you feel supported, respected, and not alone.
Depending on your needs, emergency relief may include:
Clothing and essentials through our partnership with Thread Together
Food and groceries including direct support and referrals to Foodbank
School supplies and items for babies and children
Household essentials such as fridges, washing machines, beds, or couches when available
Advocacy and support – helping you navigate social welfare, NDIS, aged care, disability, or immigration systems
Safety and crisis connections – linking you to trusted services if you are experiencing domestic or other forms of abuse
We set aside a limited amount of emergency relief each month. Once this is used, we may not be able to provide direct help until the next month. For this reason, we encourage you to contact us as early as possible so we can prioritise your needs while support is available.
